Dave Osato - Backyard Jam
I spent ages scanning in, making this animated sequence of Dave Osato, only to realise you can barely make out what he is doing. Anyway it's up and it's Dave Osato doing a tail whip into the curved wallride at Derby last Sunday.

I was sent this link ages ago but forgot to add it to the site. It contains some photos from the Custard Jam that took place at the Medicine Bar earlier in the year. Click here. Photos by Robert Hamilton-Smith

I know it's been said before, but a huge flat table is still one of the best things in BMX. Justin Inman boost out of the quarter / flatbank. Justin Inman Table top, fullsize

Backyard Jam Derby
The final Backyard event of the year finished off at Derby yesterday and once again didn't disappoint. Epic Jam - Tag Team Bowl Comp
They'll be a jam going on at Epic in the new year. It'll be a Saturday evening and may lead to an all nighter if anyone's up for it, the main feature will be the 'Tag Team' bowl comp (?). The idea being that you make up a team of between 2 and 5 and ride for an allotted time. To change rider you have to 'tag' them. Not sure if it'll work but it could be fun. 202426 (Brums only rider and run shop) are supporting the jam and Paul and Matt at the park are trying to get some more sponsorship sorted and hopefully a cash prize for the winners. When I get further updates I'll post them here.
Worcester Skatepark News - Eggy
"We close for winter sat Nov 1st so I'm gonna re-build the street area and re-surface everything, also building a mini ramp upstairs in the youth centre to use over winter.

Best news is we gain charity status Dec 1st so plans to build a warehouse type building, a new smooth floor and all new ramps are under way! Could take about 12 months but whatever, I've got this far and I'm not backing down now!"

Music
Not really any BMX news but ten tracks, in no particlular order, that have been played way too much in the last few weeks...

A bit more coverage of the now beardless Tom James. Still image and animated sequence, use the links below.

There's currently a project being run to get an indoor skatepark in the Dartford / South London area. More details to follow, view the website and show your support.
Harvington Skatepark Again and Worcester Skatepark
According to Greg down at Harvington Skatepark the "PARK RANGER (a small bearded super hero in a green van) Turned up and closed the gaff. and then ran a red ape around the place, whack". So that is no more for the year, hopefully not for good. I'm also sure Greg meant he ran red tape around the park not a red ape!

Talking of parks closing down, as mentioned by Graeme on the Twoand8 site, Worcester is having a closing down jam / sesison on Saturday, November the 1st. Got to be worth it, definately one of the best outdoor parks and the last chance to ride it until Spring next year.
Kye Forte photo profile
Another photo profile added, this time of Kye Forte. Contains a mix of new and old photos.

Tom James Photo Profile
Just added a photo profile of Tom James. The page contains both photos of Tom and photos Tom has taken and sent over. There is also some other photos of Tom scattered around the site in various galleries. Backyard Jam Bournemouth, Dirt gallery and the Twoand8 Jam Worcester.

After moving to South East London, Tom has been an invaluable tour guide, showing us all the the riding spots he has taken ages to find aswell as the trails which he pretty much built on his own.

Pin Badges
We've now got a badge making machine so if any one is interested in small runs of badges for a reasonable price, get in touch. Shown in the left corner is some Random badges.
I now know what a 'blog' is, still crap if you ask me. I've also just discovered another new internet related word 'Chog'. I sincerely hope people don't get paid to think these things up.
Looks like winters on it's way as Epic's Thursday night bike session is getting busier again. About 15 riders from Worcester turned up. Scott, Muzzer and Jay Alliano made an appearance along with a healthy picking of the Bearwood and Black Country lot.
Found some 'really interesting' news on the Howies site just, I'm not going to mention what it's about but you might want to check it out yourself. And with that it's a lovely day so I'm logging off and going early!
Just checking to see how this thing works. One question I do have; who the hell decided on the name 'Blogger' All the .com's full were they?

Harvington Skatepark
Harvington skatepark in Beckenham is closing this month after its summer season. The future of the park is still in balance, Youth Action group have to re-apply for the license next March to operate the park. Hopefully they will get it again and run the park but it depends on factors like how much it gets broken into while its closed.
