Shoe Bike
Neil at Loophole sent me this picture which I thought was pretty funny. I just hope they're not getting any ideas from it...

Lesson 3 in the 'how to' feature, although this one would be more appropriate in a trials riding magazine, how to 'Pogo'. Go to the Articles page to view it.

TWOAND8 Website
It's taken a while but Adi and I have pretty much finished the new TWOAND8 website and it's now online. There is still some product areas, rider pages, music section and various tweaks here and there to do but it is 95% complete. Hopefully there will be a whole bunch of new products coming soon so keep and eye open.

Epic Bowl Jam
The Epic Skatepark Bowl Jam went down on Saturday with a good turnout and some even better riding. We arrived fairly late but at least it was in style, travelling up in Adi's 40 year split screen van with no heater, air leaks and four of us sat in sleeping bags for the whole journey was pretty funny.

Riding wise, the Forest of Dean was well represented with a whole bunch of riders, loads of good trails style, smooth and flowing. The MoVment also went for the smooth, flowing style with a team made up of Graeme Hardie, Leo and Kye Forte. Leo was fully rocking the top hat and pin stripe jacket. Ben Hennon and Ben Manuel were both airing the bowl way too high and looking like they were up for some comp action. Highlights included local Lee Hathaway who was all over the bowl and back walls, downsides, wallrides and fakie wallrides. Shame his team came last! Zach shaw flaired the hip, Martyn Tambling tailwhipped the elbow and somehow Kye managed to wallride around the angled corner, back into the bowl. Must be the power of the beard.

MoVment 'Zine
Kye Forte and the rest of the MoVment have been busy putting together their first 'zine. If you want to know more of what the MoVment is about or what Kye and the rest of the Decoy crew have been upto, try and get your hands on a copy.

Kid jumps car
I found this the other day, not in the 1983 BMX annual but in a 1986 Air-Cooled Volkswagens book.

The caption accompanying the photo reads "Silly Sid the BMX kid' is a pro-racer who jumps Ghias as a hobby"
Day of Reprisal
BMX Jam at Derby Storm Skatepark, Saturday 27th March 2004. Starts at 3pm and on till late, the park opens as usual at 10am.

Epic Tag Team jam info
This weekends jam at Epic will be open to non-members, you may have to sign a waiver for insurance purposes but you will not be expected to pay the £10 membership fee. The costs of entry are as follows: £3 if your entering, £5 to come in and ride, no idea of a price for spectators. The park closes to the skaters, bladers etc at around 7:00pm so if you are coming down, then might be the best time to start arriving. Also as mentioned before, the jam might turn into an all-nighter if people are up for it.
New how to feature
It seems all the rage in the magazines these days to have a 'how to' section. Well we've gone back to basics with a how to bunny hop feature straight out of a 1983 BMX annual. Look in the Articles page to view it.
The dangers of BMX
Back last year at the Twoand8 Jam at Worcester skatepark a guy called Alex had a bit of an incident in a rather delicate area ie splitting his nutsack! Eggy sent me a picture of the mess he made, morbid I know but worth a look!

VideoBMX
My name is Tom Lee, Ive been riding for about 5 1/2 years.During this time i have been very keen on videography and have been doing it for a good 3 years now.

I have decided to start a small part-time company making video's for bmx'ers who either dont have the money or the equipment. or do have the equipment but dont know how to edit the footage.

This could be for people trying to persuade their council to build a skatepark or just for normal riders wanting to see themselves on a professional looking video.
