Epic Skatepark News
New weekly pass - all day, every day from just £10

That's right - you can now skate, ride or roll all week for just £10. Come everyday if you like, stay as long as you want. Its just £10. OK in school holidays the price goes up to £19 but its still a bargain.

New areas

We are in the middle of a new building programme at the park that will see some exciting new areas. We have completed a 14ft high vert wall and link to the bowl. There's a new big box, with curved coping on one side and square angle on the other. Work is already underway on a big street section for the back of the park - why not come in and see the designs and give us your own ideas.

BMX shop now open - buy a bmx and get 1 month's unlimited riding at Epic

We have all your favorite brands with everything from complete bikes to accessories. Buy a BMX for Christmas and get 1month's unlimited access to Epic free! We have complete bikes from Hoffman, Mongoose, Fit, Haro and Felt so call in and check them out.

Derby Storm Ramps
If you went to the Backyard Jam at Derby, there was a good chance you saw the new ramps in place of the old mini and vert ramp. If not, they look pretty sick...

Park Central Session

It was a quiet-ish session at the park last night, so I made a nuisance of myself by taking photos of Stu Clarke and generally getting in the way.

Testing the build quality whilst trying to downside the board.

There is going to be another bowl jam at Epic Skatepark on Saturday 8th January from 5pm. Tag team bowl comp same as last year but with highest fakie on the vert wall added in as well. Its the same format enter in teams and have a run between the team taggin in and out. There will be Pro and am classes thats it really people just need to bring beers and watch.

Colum Photos
Just a couple of photos of Colum from Park Central. Table 360 over the box and turndown 180 over the volcano.

Location: Derby Storm Skatepark, Derby
Dates: 22/23/24 October

Everyone should have heard about it and know the score by now. It’s the last one of the year and will take place over three days allowing 100 Amateur riders to and over 60 Professionals who are competing for a share of the $10,000 Pro purse. In addition, riders will be able to compete for $2,700 for the SNICKERS Best Trick contest, where they have a set amount of time to impress the judges with their “ultimate stunts”.

Putting some exciting additions to the course is ramp builder Nate Wessel. Fresh from designing the XGames street course, Nate will be given the freedom to create almost anything he desires for the Jam.

Taj Mihelich (Etnies, T1)

New Street Furniture

I have just added a bunch of street furniture photos Tom James sent, from what seems like an endless supply of London spots. Hopefully a much needed site revamp soon, been too busy to keep on top of it as well as working with Adi on the Profile Europe and Redditch Skatepark sites.

Profile Racing Europe

There is a new Profile Europe now online. Although not 100% finished, there is a bunch of stuff on there. Still to add is a full products and service section, more media and rider bios / photos.
