Aswell as being an old skool warrior Matt has earned a bit of a reputation as a bike mechanic genius. His CV is pretty heavy with Mat Hoffman on the list (if you ask him about that you'd better put a brew on). Loads of the Bristol crew get their wheels built by him including a fair few p.r.o's. he's the word from matt "I do wheel building for £15 inc spokes and I can also do any other from of service on any type of bike price starting from £3. I know my wheels are stronge as pete (Malbrough) and steven's (Craig) both ride them and I think Pill (Anthony) still use's the back wheel that I built for him almost two years ago." New Park
Just got some info and a new park Kevin Garwood has been building...
"West Kingsdown skatepark, it's been open for the last couple of weeks... The park is real small, but it's got a loada stuff crammed in, nice volcano, few quarters, wallrides, driveway/grind box, hip line, and a box/sub-box/mellow quarter type thing there, so it's all good and rideable! "

Date Change
The joe and pipe birthday thing at newport has changed date. It's now on the 23rd which is the week later.

I couldn't let Adi get away without some kind of mention. Somehow he has made it to his 30th and hopefully past it. Saturday night should be carnage.

Had some info from Andy at the Edge skatepark in Leicester. They are having some financial problems, after a really good first year but a decline in the number of skater and rediers in the area has led to the park being due to close on january 10th.

There's a comp this weekend 6th november, loads of prizes, cheap entry, good atmosphere, hot food and fireworks. Plus there'll also be some kind of farewell jam closer to the date.

Just been informed by Rory that the digging jam is actually sun 21st nov - as this ensures free parking and a bar to themselves for the video premier.

T1 for sale
I'm selling my T1 Barcode if anyone is interested. It's from the light batch, 21" top tube, filed drop outs, no dents but the (green) paint is scratched. £100.
