New GBH Ramps

New GBH ramp in St Neots, Cambridgeshire

Animal Seat with that mcneil patented design of attaching to the post, eg by an allen key that go's through the top of the seat to bolt it directly to the post. Both the seat and post have sexed splined contours so you can angle the seat and it should'nt slip at all. You cant move the seat forward or back as there are no rails, but fixed central should be cool for everyone but the most finnicky of you out there. Laterz

More stolen bmx online news

Ere's tha Nu seat from Animal that'll fit on a mcneil post, and it acullay looks like a nice seat for barspins, the other mcneil seats are cool for the, tou know the ones small and not the greatest covering by my reconing, yo never know Animal being the street style afficionandos (?) may have made a good tough one, we'll see but it does look a good shape, a bit like that of the heavyweight oddyssey saddle that cost the earth moon and stars. I guess the seats gonna have to be a bit more at retail than the Macneil seats but i guess it'll be worth it if you've got a mcneil post and have trashed your seat and are looking for a good comfy to pinch seat, or just wanna get one for the designer label, its your perogative. Not long until the Opening of Bristol's new park, I hope to see everyone there. From the ashes of Skate & Ride/Park Central comes Motion Ramppark. NOTE: This is not a new name for Skate & Ride, the park has been completely rebuilt aswell as the Bar and Resturant/Cafe. All new ramps and a killer setup, pass the word.

Riding wise Burnham skate park has been over run by little girls and a small group of guys who all think an awful lot of themselves and there cars, they give us shit for riding, all they do is sit on the ramps eating chips and spitting on the floor.

Wandsworth Roundabout

A little while ago Stuart finished up with his college work for the summer and decided that we needed to get concreteing. He went out and bought a few bags of sand and cement , drove out to Wandsworth and got brixton cycles Billy out to help. We did'nt have a clue how to mix the cement we knew we wanted it dryish but that did'nt stop us from making it the consistancy of rice pudding which made keeping it in place while it dried out a chore to say the least. Well we got about a foot width of slight transition into the wall instead of the gap that sat bettween the bank and the wall which makes it loads easier to ride inmy opionion. A week or so later when i was buzy, stu and billy did a little more this time on the right hand bank and on a far steeper part of it too so it feels loads more trannied than the one on the left.

Clifton Cathedral Session

Just a few photos of Lucian and myself from a night time ride, stair-drops and wall rides.

Stoke Skate Plaza

This is awesome!. A large park with paths running around it with stairs, rails, ledges of varying size and shape, and some kind of mellow snakerun thing. Its all too good to be true butno its happening and by the sounds of it may even be finished by now. I'm not sure what the deal is with it and bikes but it sound like its a public park, so its just up to you to use a little decorum and diplomacy when riding it i guess. For more details and some vids of the plaza getting skated see http://www.sketchyskateboarding.co.uk/skatepathsprog.htm Enjoy.

King of Concrete

3rd one of the day, I'm afraid my coverage of KOC is somewhat one-sided what with only really seeing the flatland, you might still enjoy the write-up at Declaim.co.uk, and here are a selection of the pictures:

St.Georges Jam 2

For some reason I can only add a certain number of images to each post so here is the second installment, or the first as you see it, so look further down for the other set of pics from the jam.

St.Georges Jam

I took quite a few photos at the St.Georges Jam, unfortunately I run out of battery in the middle of shooting Robin Fenlon trying a double peg off a bent over sign post to barspin off. It was a chilled sunny sunday with everyone just taking it easy, by the time I left the comp hadn't even started, everyone was just riding and hanging out.

The camera was feeling a bit shy at the St George jam yesterday. Si, no footed can over the slug. The guy behind him was getting really wound up cause we kept getting in the way of his run up. Old school fool.

Petition for s/e indoorpark

Wobbly Kev has been trying to get support for an indoor park that he'd build along with his ramp building buddies. The origanal plans were to have the park within Dartford councils reach but they're ignoramous's and decided they wanted an outdoor cereal bowl and nowt else so Kevs proposing that they build a shed next to probebly the most popular of the outdoor parks he's built, Cascades in Gravesend, and build the indoor park in it. You know the skatepark would be buzy everyday and with it being run by kev would have a pretty relaxed atmosphere. He's also got some unique ideas for the ramps that'd go in there, and by the sounds of it have a wooward sponsored area, u know what i'm sayin (resi?). Anyway It'll be an awesome park to have in the southeast during the long winter months, so show your support by signing this online petition. Cheers :http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/gravesendindoorskatepark
