Vigilante Paul revover's nicked bike

On Saturday morning at the Finsbury park bowls, I noticed a teenage ratkid who turned up on a pretty decent bike. No big deal I thought, as I've ridden with/seen quite a few decent riders who look like that. But he was very squirrelly on it, couldn't 180 in the bowl, let alone air it. And this bike looked good, LHD micro gearing, two pegs (on the right) brakeless, primo cranks, odyssey cassette etc etc...

I thought it was Cucumber John's bike that was lifted from Benson's studio, but it's not. I asked him where he got it from. He said '20 quid off a mate down Angel way' which eventually turned into 'my cousin', and finally, 'my dad bought it for me from his cousin'… Blatantly nicked. I called Cucumber and left a message. I told the kid it was my mates bike and 'he'd give you a right kicking' if he saw him on it. I offered to buy it off him for 30 quid, then thought that'd just be encouraging kids to nick bikes, so I told him 'look pal, I'm not gonna fight you for it, but I know that's my mates bike, I've called him and if he gets here or ever see's you on it, he'll fucking cripple you, you get me?' (or words to that effect).

So he then gives me the bike and say's he doesn’t want any trouble, gets on his mates mtb and rides off! By now quite a few of the local skaters are saying 'I knew that bike was jacked man!' etc etc. So I leave the park.

So now I've got some shredders bike. From the dings and dents I'm guessing the original owner can ride pretty well. So does the following sound familiar to anyone's nicked bike?

Black frame
Primo cranks (LHD)
Oddy cassette/oddy front hub
Grey two piece bars
Possibly Fit forks, could be Pitchforks
Oddy JC pedals (black)
Blue grips
No brakes
Primo wall and Taj Primo Pro tyres.

I'll give it to whoever can prove it’s theirs. Spread the word please!

Cheers - Paul
