Wallspace

In typical style, Adi and I just about managed to make it to Brum in time adn rushed around in the sweltering heat, frantically nailing frames to the wall. There was a good turn out for the launch party and a fair few beers consumed. Cheers to Dan for organsing and puttin gus up. The exhibition runs for two weeks in the Bar at Epic before it's being refurbished. Also on show are pieces by BCBMX, PASSION, Dan and Tattoo work by Dave.

Skatepark Stuff
News from Epic Skatepark...

"Did you know how to use the park for free ?

Well now you do , all you have to do is buy your product from our Shop inside the park. It stocks all great brands across skateboarding , Blading and BMX. So it works like this ... spend £30.00 get a free day in the Park; £50.00 gets you a week in the park and £100.00 gets you a whole month Free. So be clever and save your admission money for fags and cheap cider.

Gold Season ticket promotion £199.00

So far we have been really successful with our season tickets , so its time we put a bit back. So for the whole of August we are reducing the price of our Year season tickets to only £199.00. That's right a whole year for only £.55p a day. Other benifits include halfprice entry to our Allnighter's (so only a £5.00), 10% discount from our Shop aswell.

Free Membership and Friends Skate or Ride for free (valid until the end of August 2006)

If you print out this e-mail and produce it at the reception in the park to claim a membership renewal for you or a free year's membership for a friend .The other promotion is pay for one person to get in (Day pass only) over the summer holidays and bring a friend for free.

With the summer Holidays week pass only £15.00 for 7 days unlimited access , there has never been a better or cheaper time to come to Epic."

A new meaning of PAIN!!!

I heard this from a friend at work a couple days back. Even now, everytime I think about it I grab my balls and gulp.
This chap in Lichfield recently dislocated his hip, I'm not entirely sure how it was done but needless to say it pretty bad. Whilst in theatre having this leg popped back in the surgeon managed to get something trapped in his socket. Not entirely sure what it was, I was told it was his testicle although how this would happen I wouldn't know. I reckon it was either the Epididymis or the Vas deferen tube. FUCK THAT! Imagine the pain of having part of your genetalia trapped in your hip socket.
Anyhow, the poor chap was awake whilst this was going on and on feeling the sensation screamed so loud he managed to rip his vocal cords!!!

Now that has got to be a new meaning of pain.
