New news - Soon to be become old news.

T1 finally have their new site up and running and are threatening to provide updates every so often. It looks pretty neat, easy to navigate and contains artwork by Sieben.
Tremble One

In further major developing news I've finally bought myself a digital soul taker. After spending way to long looking at things and thinking 'what could I do to remember that in the morning'? I finally bought something which may come in use. No photo's to add just yet as I'm still trying to figure how to use it. One day at a time my friend, one day at a time.
The photo below is by Kenneth Kenneth of the naked forest and Ten15. Squiggly lights!

SOS - Ramparts, Stourbridge.

Despite Ramparts trying to do a service for the community by providing a safe and fun place to skate, blade and ride, Dudley Council has always charged us rent at high commercial rates. For a number of years we have been trying to discuss these rates so that they reflect the valuable role we believe we play in our community - so far with little agreement.

In July 2007 our lease on the Bell Street site is due to expire. We are attempting to re-negotiate an extension but the Council are unwilling to discuss this with us until we have cleared the backlog of rent we still owe them.

We are writing to appeal for your help in repaying our debts to Dudley council so that we can stay open at the Bell Street site.

Since the council charge us at these commercial rates we currently owe several thousand pounds in rent despite us trying to do something for the benefit of the whole area. We cannot afford to pay this without compromising the costs to our members by massively raising our charges. We are very resistant to doing this and we know that members do not want it either; none of us want Ramparts to be open to only the wealthy of the area. Indeed, we are applying for funding to make access to the park free but this will only be an option once the rent is paid up.

Are you in contact with any local companies that may be able to assist us? Could you donate any money, organise a sponsored event or think of any other ideas? We would be most grateful for any assistance you can offer with this problem as we’d like to resolve this issue with the council as soon as possible, hopefully, by Christmas. Please contact us with any thoughts, suggestions or ideas you may have that you think will help us keep Ramparts going past next summer.

Thank you,

Yours hopefully,

Lois Bramall

Edwardes team

Here we have the new Edwardes bike shop street team line up. Edwardes always used to have a team of some sort sponsoring various well known racers and ramp riders. They already have a few flatland guys they help out but now they have a few choice south london street riders. Im not sure if Richy's been along to seal the deal as yet but he's more local to camberwell thatn the rest of us and is'nt afraid to put in the work to produce the goods. You should all be aware of the Fox by now he's been on the scene getting it done for quite a while now and is finally getting the recognition he deserves. He's just got a spot on the uk lotek team too, so along with Carharrt he's racking them up, he just needs a frame sponsor now cos these new fangled frames just cant stand up to what his old angel of death could. See joe on the small bike mag.com
Tedave, slerge, sideshow Ted, little Ted, or just Ted, is a regular at the southbank sessions and is teching it up all over town. If you've seen his bike you'll know it needs a little care and attention. So does mine especially after last nights bail which ended up with my bars all folded up. We'll all be seeing you soon George no doubt. George is the main bmx guy at Edwards so if you want any info on parts or the full setups they have in stock Edawards has a well stocked bmx department from stock completes through all the blinging bicycle jewlery to the high end at decent price completes. Just go have a look at 221-248 camberwell rd se5, or call 0207 703 5729 - or 0207 703 5720.
Thanks to Vince for doing all the networking on this one and taking the photo's of himself (prob steve with Vinces camera) and the one of Ted.
