happy new year, well here we are rah rah rah rah rah another year. good times.this year has been pretty up and down for myself. after spending some time in hospital with my heart. going to uni. leaving uni. making friends looseing friends. riding my bike. getting the worst sun burn of my life in croyde. seing some amazing live music, taking back sunday, babyshambles, the fratellies. meeting some awesome people. and i think iv taken 10000ds of photos. been published been knocked back. and well still trying to find out what has happend about a photo comp that i came runner up in on the freesports awards.com it was over a year ago and they have still not really got back to me. iv rang and iv emailed! and i just get told "its getting sorted we no that we owe you" well cheers!

i have booked a flight to america for 11 days on the east coast with a load of friends and meeting some america's over there. going to rye airfield and some other awesome parks in america. in the process of sorting a trip to barcalona out.

went to backyard jam saw some amazing riding. i rode some cool parks this year as well. newquay and corby both awesome parks. salt ash is pretty good as well.

I met up with Dan cox, Dan Lacy, Mike Mills , Bruce Crisman ,Baz Keep, Ricky Adam, and Ed Allen when they came and stayed a couple of miles from me just over the river in Exell. That day was pretty nice, bright sunshine but fairly chilly. I get drunk way too easily and somehow got us all lost enough after some pubs so we did'nt get back to thier hotel room untill 4. The rest of their week was a little wetter, but it looks like they found a enough dry spells and spots to have a few good sessions in and around town. Sorry we did'nt hook up again, my hangover and sleeping in my soaked clothes put me out of action. Ed put together a little video of their exploits on youtube. See if you can spot the my cameo.

Yep, That's right January now officially means hangovers, feeling bloated and Epics Annual Bowl Comp. The formats been kept the same for the previous 3 years so we decided not to change anything for the 4th. It's still cheaper to ride than watch + you get a free drink. See in Jan then?

At the Mill in Kingston THIS coming thursday the 21st. Alex is premiereing the Barend video (not technically a premiere i think they showed it after thier digging jam) and the brand new Shook Brainstormed. Its one of those yellowcard bars as far as i remember so loads of screens every where and one big screen. If you know anyone with a yellow card bring em along or borrow their card cos it means you get drinks a fair old bit cheaper.

Now that the festive period is upon us, I guess a couple of words of encouragement should be given. Just go hell for leather and don't worry about the consequences, although I do recommend you find somewhere safer to sleep than the chap in the link.

Well stranger things have happened, the first time the camera has been out of the bag since the Backyard Jam in Sheffield. Craig Stevens whip, Colum Walshe bars at Epic.

I seem to be getting more settled into this being unemployed thing again, and so i've been net nibblin more than usual. Mark is one of the locals at southy b with a trendy bike, he also has a camera and slave that he's fairly handy with and aint afraid to use. He's got a myspace blog with shots off Ted, Pinky, Mike, Teddy, Loads of Smithy doing amazing moves, and a few of Stu. Here are a couple of samples i stole from the Streetphire message board.
I also read about Lidl's selling camera rucksacks on there too , for about £18 starting today (thurs 14th) so i got up early in case they sold out and went to the one in Catford. There was a huge pile of em with no one interested so if you need a camera bag thats the place. Its not quality manufacure there are shitty stitching on the inside but it seems strong enough tons of pockets space for 1 large and one small tripod rain cover, i'm happy. Lidl's is the place. I might get a spare for when we/i get a video camera.
