ah i fly home tonight! so shit

ok i fly home at 7 30 on monday (american time) its awesome to go home but its so shit to be leaving this trip has been crazy good. thanks to rye airfield for letting us ride for free!!! and thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome honestly its been great. i have just got back from the final session at ramp farm. time for bed then boston tomrow then flying home.

i am going to sort everything out and update it proper when i get back. here are some photos from rye. one of adam in the pool and one of zak early.

we went to a steak house, ross dummet being the man he is came on this trip with hardly any money. fair play tho ross he did earn his money. i have some photos to follow but these are a taste.

after a 18 hour drive back from columbus we ended up at sleepser house. we slept and chilled. the nexts morning we woke up and sleepers next door neighbough let us have a go on his 50. after these photos were taken the police turned up and asked us to stop they had, had a complaint saying " there are people taking photos and riding a bike up and down the road"

good times.

Thats Billy that is, doing a bike flip! ,without lubrication! ,to the frame! Photo and info from Mark Westlake. A while ago Chad and Wade were in this country filming for their next shook and Chad wrote some encouraging words on SHOOKIN.COM so have a read. I think its the biggest text update on their since i was hogging the trailer for winteractive. I now feel we're special, or we have special needs at least.
Style 43 did a little on thier time with them too just to confirm that it is a uk site i promise you it is. They also had a Karl Poynter q&a a while ago.
The hip is now free from workmens vans so the jam will go ahead as soon as i can be arsed to get things together unless you wanna do it for me youre welcome to nah really ill do it i promise soon enough, mid may im thinking maybe hmm.

ok its err day 5 i think. yesterday we went to woodward we bumped in to mike spinner and we tryed to get a ride. it didnt happen we hadnt given them enough notice. we took a short drive to the rope swing and chilled then drove all niught to ohio we just rode street and a little park it was rad. time for food. ta ta

ok. i have a bit more time now. so far we have gone from springfield MA we rode the new ramp farm. thanks to burger for letting us ride. and for zaks dad for hooking us up with mountain dew food etc.. thanks! we stayed the night at dario's we woke and drove to the incline club in new jersey. the drive took around 9 hours we got to incline club and we only had a hour to drive. they didnt seem to interested in letting us stay a little later. on the drive back from incline club to the motel the uhaul hadnt been shut and everyones luggage was spilt down the highway. we got some of it back thankfully. we woke up and drove to FDR.

day 1 we drove to incline club it took 9 hours what shit trafic we rode for 30 mins then all the luggage fell out of the u haul we are just in a hotel and we are about to go. we rode FDR today WOW what a place. driving to state collage tonight going to go to woodward hopefully then staying at this girls house with a drive to louiseville sometime soon.

oh yes

ok so, i went to burnham skate park tonight. was a average night. nothing new nothing special. panting 180'd out of the flat bank over the rail to flat i got my camera out and started to set up for the shot. for a while now we have been giving scott (below) crap saying he wont flip the jump box at burnham on sea park. before i new it the dude was taking a run up i quickly grabed my cam and took a shot. he sliped the pedals on the landing. 2nd time he did it. fair play scott. that is nuts. this thing is so small and its so hanging its unreal.

The dregs

Not nearly numbskulls. Its a barrage of beard realated font reliant fun. Optic vortex and Lifecycle respectively disrespected. Ted is silly and got 2nd or 3rd at the Cantelowes jam winning some cool and a bin bag of stuff in exchange for freinds and a warm bath. Here he finds a bank to sub where theres no bank, and pegs a ledge over little James Smithys head height. Relevant Sauna graffiti from Madrid.

Redditch Skatepark

Just had a few updates from Steve Rooke regarding Redditch Skatepark.

"Some changes happened at the park such as a really nice new ramp consisting of a wall ride side on linked to a 16ft wide volcano joined to a half pyramid with steep sides and mellow landing, which came about from the fire damage insurance built by Rampchild and was well worth the wait. Ben Suttor has been busy with alterations such as a new volcano with mellow landing joined to the driveway next to the spine ramp and has built a new jumpbox landing."

Should have some photos soon which will make it a bit easier to picture.

I hate to be negative, but...

...the budget was only 30,000K, most of which went on groundworks. They also didn't get to choose contractor, so it hasn't ended up quite to plan. Craig Reynolds put in a lot of free time, without which there probably wouldn't be anything there at all and St Georges skatepark wouldn't have had the (really good) obstacles added last year.

"Square One are holding a Pittsburgh Street Jam on April 21st. The plan is to just meet up at the Square One shop, and just go ride everything Pittsburgh has to offer (street, concrete parks, whatever). What I have in mind is something like those NYC street jams those guys used to have back in the day. So everyone spread the word and come shred one of the best riding cities out there"
