Matt Hill committee member and all round good guy was injured petty bad on Sunday apparently attempting something over the volcano landed harsh and broke his Femur (upper leg thigh bone). This is most unusual as I don't recall ever seeing him fall off his bike and is a pretty dialed, smooth fluid rider. He's in hospital now and will have to have a pin put in his leg and could be out of riding for a long time. We wish Matt a speedy recovery from.

Thanks to all who attended this years Spam Jam a good time was had by all good skate and bike comp can't remember who won what or who came where and a product toss then followed. The weather held out although a bit cold. Thank you to to the Speaker Reapers and A Free years Hiding for proving the music. Big thank you to Dave Ellis from all for yet another successful event. Also a thank you to all the volunteers who helped from everything from staffing, cutting the grass to ramp repairs.

Got some more info on the SPAM JAM
This year will include a skate comp on the Skateboard street section and BMX comp on the large BMX section all in the name of fun.
Prizes from Suspect Sports Unicorn Hill Redditch who are the sponsors of the event.
The music will be from A Years Hiding and local Skater Cuban as MC body snatcher and his crew the Speaker Reapers and maybe more bands on the day.
Not sure on times yet other than it starts at 12 noon and the cost is a £5.00 donation towards our running costs.

Sorry were late letting you all know as we are still confirming details for the SPAM JAM. Details so far are date 12pm Sunday 12th June, Skate bike and music festival featuring live local bands and local hip hop set led by non other as top local skater Cuban. There will be skateboard fun comp possibly on the skate street section or wherever it takes place and BMX street on the large course. Goodies to give away. All sponsored by Suspect Skates Redditch.
