Funding and New Ramps News

Good news it's been confirmed we are to receive a £7,000 grant from the Community First Local Network Fund. This has come from a consultation a exercise from skaters and BMXers. What is going to appear sometime hopefully over the next month. As requested from the Skaters is a Micro Ramp and street furniture consisting of a picnic bench, a single flat bench combined with fly off ramps, wedge ramps and manual pads, which can be reconfigured to create new miniaturee courses. For the BMXers there will be additions to the large street course such as a curved wall ride, built at the far end near the sign and transition to transition jumpbox, built next to the driveway to increase flow. We would like to thank all who contributed plans and ideas. Also we will soon be building a few sets on the old BMX track thanks to a donation of £180 from Matchborough Neighbourhoodd Group. Also we would like to thank Winyates Neighborhoodd Group for their kind £500 donation towards new safety gear. This is a combined effort from the community, Skaters/riders and funding bodies. Just got to get it sorted out now!
