Ride Magazine - It’s a professional outfit
So Ride Magazine is now based in London at the Factory HQ. That obviously means cutting edge, fully equiped photography studios in order to produce parts of the mag like the product section. Well not quite, iIn the latest issue, there is a spotlight feature on cassette hubs. The photo shoot goes more like this…
Photos and text are then compiled / edited in the back room of my house, deep inside Bristol, BS3…
Then some how it all comes together and we end up with something like this…
1917
I love cars, especially anything old, rat looking or track inspired. This is amazing though, it was built by US custom shop, Webb Automotive Art as a homage to the 1917 Golden Submarine racer. It took Dan Webb, three years of work to masterpiece this hand built masterpiece. More photos here.
Birthday boy
Ron Wilkerson turned 43 recently and spent it on a huge vertramp at woodward west with his freinds.

Pic by Robin Fenlon i think.
Watch all these vids. Hes a thriving legend.
Bmx has’nt really changed alot since those days. At least the riding part.
Switchback
Digging solidly almost everyday most of the winter and trying to ride, work on bikes, and whatever else has been pretty hard on my body. But i keep going.
I have developed a twinge just above my left shoulder blade. Apart from that i manage to stretch most achey pains out, and if that does’nt work, breathing exercises really help.
Although, last week my lower back was begining to feel the strain from digging the new berm section that is the start of the big line at our spot.
I realized that it made more sense to shovel switch handed in the anti clockwise berm.
Its definitely helped with the back thing, and my left forearm is begging to get used to lifting the weight of the dirt.
My right hand is much more swollen compared to the left.
I still cant break ground too well with the cutting spade switch handed but i think shovelings enough for now.
Try it out. It might mean you’d beable to dig for longer if you switch it up a bit.
Snapz
I found sometime for BMX last weekend , i have been working crazy hours and not wanting to drive again when i get home to go riding , the sun is starting to come out , the nights are getting lighter. Glastonbury skatepark is due to be finished at the end of March start of April . i can’t wait.

I also have my own website with the news and features work i do for the national newspapers as well as a BMX gallery! hopefully 2009 will bring some more bmx photos i hardly shot anything last year!
Digmore digging jam
Some photos from the digging jam George organised last Sunday. About 20 people turned up, a load got done on the bowl, plenty on the main trails line and the first berm was rebuilt.
