Newport
Newport has a couple of new jump boxes in replace of the old one and foam pit setup that’s been there for eternity. Shame they don’t ride as good as they look, apparantly they are being changed though.
Newort concrete - again
Went and had a look at this earlier, seems pretty good but was too wet to ride. Transitions were bone dry but the floor doesn’t seem to dry out too well.

Harrow Jam
The last ever Harrow ‘Solid Surf’ skatepark Jam went down on Saturday, Rikki Gunner killed it with the most transfers and lines… schooling some of the more senior riders!

P5 Trowbridge Terrorism Jam
Matt from Project 5 just fired over the flyer for this weekends jam at Trowbridge (1)(2) skatepark.
Motion
Motion BMX Park is closing down for the summer. This Saturday will be the session (11-6), the park will be shut from the 22nd June until the 1st October. Due to lack of riders recently, the park will be having a revamp over the summer.
Horfield Skatepark
Finished at last, bar a few work men poking around, grinding off bits of coping. Seems alright, just a bit dusty and slippy at the moment.

Trowbridge skatepark
New skatepark in Trowbridge. Been meaning to go here for a few weeks now but Mr. Dave Smith beat me to it…
“Made of concrete and it’s gotta a 5ft mini with 2hips into it, little jumpbox, cool driveway, volcano type thing (trannie one side flatbank the other) with a sub block on it and a 25ft wide wall ride set up consisting of a vert wall, flatbank to wallride and a quarter with wall ride behind it.
Also there is a generation gap and a little top section too, lots to grind all around the edge of the park.
The park is located right next to the train station, when u are coming from Bristol its on your right hand side, you can throw a stone from the platform to the skatepark!”

Horfield - again
Went and had a look yesterday at the progress, still plenty of work to do by the looks.
New North Bristol Skatepark!
Ere get on! New skatepark currently under construction and due to be finished at the end of the month! It can be found out the front of Horfield Leisure centre. For the benefit of you doughnuts who don knows where that is, its in an area of North Bristol called Horfield, travel along Gloucester road (A38) away from the centre of Bristol and you’ll find the skatepark on you left where Gloucester roads meets Dorian Road. See u there init! ; )
Stockwell and Kennington bowl
Billy down at Brixton Cycles got in touch the other day with a little update on the re-surfacing of Stockwell.
“stockwell is looking amazing,got to testride the old bowl with new surface a few days ago ,felt pretty good ,but its still gonna be few months before the new bowl is complete.the reason it is taking so long is because every possible thing that could go wrong has ,wrong concrete ,money problems ,bad weather ,the list goes on . hopefully should be in there for the summer, there should be some photos of the new bowl up on photobucket soon.”
